BCLTA is governed by a Board of nine and the work of the Board is supported by an Executive Director and Administrative Assistant.

Errin has been with BCLTA since December of 2007 and is responsible for supporting the Board in achieving its strategic plans, goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying areas of concern to the trustee community and ensuring a proactive presence for trustees among library stakeholders such as the Public Library Services Branch, BC Library Association, Association of BC Public Library Directors, Canadian Library Trustees’ Association, and other organizations. Errin works part-time from her home office in Port Moody. She holds degrees in English Literature and Library and Information Studies and worked in the local government sector prior to joining BCLTA. |

Mandy

Mandy runs the daily business of BCLTA through her virtual home office and has been with the Association since February 2002. She is responsible for coordinating TOP and Chairing the Board training sessions, and plays a key role in organizing BCLTA’s annual conference and the joint BCLTA/BCLA/ABCPLD library reception at the Union of BC Municipalities Convention. Mandy is also BCLTA’s website administrator. In her other life, Mandy volunteers at her daughter's school library and for the Parent ADvisory Board and tutors and teaches computer-related courses for West Vancouver Community Learning, and holds a BC Adult Instructor Diploma. |
