BCLTA holds a stand-alone conference once every five years. The last such event was the very successful Kelowna conference in 2007 – to be followed by our next trustee-only event in 2012. In the interim, we participate in the joint BC Library Conference with the BC Library Association and other partners, such as the Health Libraries Association of BC and the BC Teacher Librarians Association.
Whether stand-alone or jointly organized, the annual conference is a chance for library trustees to take some time out to network, learn, share ideas and discuss challenges. And of course we try and work some fun into the experience as well! Trustee-specific events include BCLTA’s Annual General Meeting, awards ceremony, trustee breakfast, evening socials, and conference programming organized by and for trustees.

At Granville Island Brewing, we are committed to great beer and to making Vancouver an even better place to live through sponsorship and community involvement.
